The "No Morale Victories" Post

Well, as we all know, the Jazz lost their 6th straight last night. It was the first home game of the losing streak which is now at 6. However, unlike the past 5 games, the Jazz actually played much better tonight. thoughts...

-The energy was there.
-The energy was there.
-The energy was there for the crowd also...i didn't get to go (what?!), yeah sold my season tickets for this game to my mom before the season started..mistake..well, they lost, so not really a mistake, buuuuut...
-Dwill was back to form. He really hasn't been playing very well during this losing streak, he did well in LA, but overall not really, so for him to score 39 points tonight (season high) was great to see, but I doubt he even cares, an L is an L.
-Watson and Dwill played excellent together, I want to see that combo as much as possible
-Play evans
-bench raja
-start cj
-the backcourt for the spurs ate us alive, ginobli had like 26, parker 23, neal 13 (including 10 in a crucial 17-0 run for the spurs) and idk his stats but I know hill hit some big shots.,
-bench bell, its whats best for the team, and yes I know I already said that.
-Millsap struggled with foul trouble (as did bell) and didn't even play after the 4th. He is also struggling with a painful thumb injury, even sloan gave him sympathy..so idk when this cat will be back to allstar form, but we sorta need it soon.
-is benching millsap a solution? some say yes, he'll be able to own other 2nd units, plus he'll still get big mins..or some say start him, maybe bench al and bring in memo, this gives the jazz a unit with much more experience in the sloan flex offense
-dwill and al's chemistry on the court looked great last night
-al had a sick dunk. He's been dunking it ALOT more often. I likey.
-Deron hyperextended his wrist, and still mangaged 39..hope he's ok, heard he's getting a MRI or something, my guess is he's hurt, but he'll play thru it because thats what he does..idk though, crossing my fingers..

oh and sloan had a nice quote about how this game wasn't a morale victory (like alot of us fans thought) because thats how the team is always supposed to play...good point jerry, good point (thats how the spurs have played almost every game this season, and look at their record..)
