The All-Star Post

Ok, so all-star reserves are announced tonight. I think I've said it like 10x, but still, Deron has gotta make it. He's the best pg in the league (all around) and w/ dwill the jazz would be nowhere. I will write a 6,000 word blog tommorow if he doesn't make it.

Anyways, Jazz lost last night, in an absolute heart breaker...ranks up there in toughest losses of the year.. Here are my thoughts...

-Jazz were w/out deron and ak..oh and memo...thats like $14, $18, and $9 million dollars..thats like $41 million dollars of non players (oh DL brought that point up btw)..

-Kevin Martin could thrive as a jazz player...he's like a korver shooter with added offensive abilities, create his own shot and stuff.

-Watson played easily one of the top games of the season for ANY NBA player..Yes he didn't even get a double double, but he had 12 pts, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals, and 0..yes 0 TO's..Not often will a bench player start due to an injury and put up that stat line..

-Al had a great game, 20 points (8-16, 4-5) 12 boards and 2 blocked shots...but that in the shadow of the game losing foul and a missed tip at the end...oh well..I still love you Al.

-Jeremy Evans went 4-4 from the field and is now shooting about 73%..if he had attempted enough, he would lead the league, nene' shoots 64% and is the best as of now..

-Throughout the game last night, it felt to me sort of like the old times..we were winning for much of the 2nd half and I was pretty confident that we would finish on top..major let down..

-Here's an interesting thought...Paul said that the Jazz have to win the games that they are supposed to win on paper (like last night vs rockets)...I was just thinking, are the jazz still supposed to win that game w/o those three players??

-Jeffers made the NBADL All-Star team..Congrats Othyeaus (DL?)

*Daily SLCDUNK "Deron received a second opinion on his wrist.  While an MRI revealed no damage, Deron says that any shot over 12' causes him pain.  Hmm, maybe we could inflict this injury on starters for the first quarters of games?
There should be some more news on his wrist today.  From the sounds of it though, it wouldn't surprise me to see him sit out the next few games.  That won't bode well for us."
*Wes sprained his ankle last night...he's on portland people, this is normal.
*NBA great Clyde Drexler can foresee a league franchise being based in London, maybe even within the next decade...And lebron says we need to cut teams..
DKIYCB (don't know if you care, but) - Cuban might buy some of the mets, the knicks got fined for violating draft rules and artest may or may not be traded..
the end.
And rememeber people, no matter how tough a loss is, the cavs have it worst, 22 straight now! wow!
