Confidence is key. If you are not confident, then, whatever you are not confident about, will justify why you are not confident about it in the first place. Hayward is a prime example of this. He started off the season with what looked like no confidence at all. Then hit a shot, and another, and it kind of had a snowball effect. I no longer cringe when I see him come in, cause now he will take the shots, make the passes, and help the team. Confidence has also been great for me, whether it is on hitting my churchball ft's or removing sprouls loser lable, once I get something right, it becomes easier and more comfortable to me. The Jazz's confidence is a bit questionable right now. During the losing streak I think it safe to say we had none, then we beat the Wolves gained a little and almost took out the Spurs after that..but as of right now, I think the Jazz's confidence is at 38.5%. A win tonight in denver will put it at 59%, and a home win vs OKC could skyrocket it to 85%. Once you hit the 90% mark you develop what some call swagger. My friend Zac says he has "Tischner Swagger" in which apparently him and his dad are extremely good with women (he is). The Jazz need swagger. We need to get these wins, get our confidence up, and get some team swagger, with that, we can start playing like we showed glimpses of earlier this season. Please Jazz, go get some swagger.
(those % are completely made up..I'm no expert)
*All stars announced, dwill made it. Snubs? Parker (westbrook got picked) LMA (Timmy got picked) and Love (Blake got picked). Dwill on his all star selection. Says he doesn't care much, but takes pride in it. mentions that allstar teams could easily have a 15 man roster (atleast in west). Oh, Boston had 4 allstars..yeah..
*Wes Mathews ankle sprain looked absolutely painful..
*Daily SLCDUNK "
Jazz guard Deron Williams said that he has seen the team in a new and sometimes different light while watching the last four games from the bench, due to a strained tendon in his right wrist. One of the primary things that has caught his eye: The way that reserve point guard Earl Watson pushes the tempo at every opportunity.Williams prefers to run when possible. But he acknowledged that there have been times this season when he pressed the accelerator, only to wonder where are the rest of his teammates."
DKIYCB- LeBron scored 51 pts for the highest scoring output of the season last night vs Orl. Durant has had 47, Ellis and Millsap 46.
